“…In a collective review of 180 patients, Brown and associates [6] compared mycotic aneurysms before and after 1965 with regard to anatomic location, etiology, and bacteriology. The femoral artery (38%) and abdominal aorta (31%) were most commonly involved, followed by the superior mesenteric (8%), brachial (7%), iliac (6%), carotid (5%), radial-ulnar (3%), hepatic (1%), subclavian (Ͻ 1%), and popliteal (Ͻ 1%) arteries.…”
