Abstract:Surgical site infection (SSI) is a frequently occurring repercussion of surgery. It results in mortality and morbidity post-surgery. The present study aims to isolate the organisms causing SSI and determine the antimicrobial susceptibility patterns of the isolates.A total of 250 patient samples were included in the study, their demographic details obtained and processed as per Standard Microbiological Protocols.
