“…Several research studies have predominantly centered on the doctoral experiences from the students' standpoint (Cornwall et al, 2019;Laufer & Gorup, 2019;Mackie & Bates, 2019), and there has also been a growing demand to incorporate the supervisors' perspectives (Bastalich, 2017;Gray & Crosta, 2019) in these investigations. The deliberations within the context of SSRs have revealed instances of identity crises (Paré, 2019;Patel, 2022), social seclusion (Office et al, 2020;Wilson & Cutri, 2019), and, in certain instances, prejudicial treatment (Arday, 2021;Arday et al, 2021). Upon this juncture, I appropriate the conceptualisations posited within the Didaktik triangle to expound upon the subject matter at hand.…”
