“…Materials with greater surface areas typically have higher capacitance values because they offer more electrochemical active sites for storing charge. 103–105 It may be inferred that a higher SSA of BaFe 2 O 4 (29.3988 m 2 g −1 ) might ease the ion diffusion, and the combination of cathode-active Ba (2A) and anode-active Fe (8B) might be a good choice to obtain better electrochemical properties such as broader working potential, lower charge transport resistance ( R ct ) and the equivalent series resistance ( R s ). The maximum areal capacitance of the materials was recorded as 390 mF cm −2 , 503 mF cm −2 , and 682 mF cm −2 at the current of 0.85 mA for Cu 2 O, BaFe 2 O 4 , and BaFe 2 O 4 @Cu 2 O, respectively.…”

“…However, it seems that its stability is an issue, as the degradation of the dye slows down and even approaches the result for ZnS@CNTs at 360 min. The kinetic constants, k, were calculated from the linear fitting of ln(c 0 /c i ) = kt [35] and, indeed, FeS shows the highest value over the total duration of the photodegradation process (k = 5.73 × 10 −3 min −1 ), whereas FeZnS has the lowest k = 3.17 × 10 −3 min −1 . The high photocatalytic efficiency of FeZnS@CNTs in the first 30 min compared to ZnS@CNTs could be due to the higher amount of photogenerated carriers originating from the absorption superiority of FeZnS.…”

“…Pre-treatment methods include thermal pre-treatment, mechanical pre-treatment and chemical pre-treatment. Thermal pre-treatment refers to roasting [52] and pyrolysis [53][54][55][56]; mechanical pre-treatment contains grinding, cryogenic-grinding [57] and attrition [28]; and chemical pre-treatment mainly refers to the advanced oxidation processes [50,58].…”
