Abstract:This paper studies the development of a semi-automated process for designing and fabricating node-based lattice spatial structures using bamboo as an ecological material. The study addresses the challenges of integrating bamboo—a naturally variable material—into spatial structures and was conducted through a hybrid workshop at the Digital Craft House, University of Art, Tehran, during COVID-19.
