Abstract:In this paper, a wideband ±45 • dual-polarized antenna is proposed for the wireless communication. An annular ring patch with four arc-shaped slots is employed to generate a wide operating impedance bandwidth. By introducing four open stubs to the antenna element, the impedance bandwidth is enhanced. The antenna has a broad impedance bandwidth (VSWR < 2) of 51.2% (1.63-2.75 GHz) and a high port-to-port isolation of 27 dB over the entire band of operation.
