Baroreflex sensitivity varies during the estrus cycle of the rat

Abstract: Baroreflex sensitivity (BRS) fluctuates during the menstrual cycle; it reaches its peak during the luteal phase, when gonadal steroids are elevated. However, whether BRS varies during the estrus cycle of the rat is unclear.
