“…Language of the article (particularly English) was mentioned in another study that led to a negative appreciation and usability of research results affecting "empowerment among nurses" [29]. While in another study, the negative attitude seemed to be rooted on the "unfavorable competencies for implementing research results in practice" [30] and not directly on research utilization which intrinsically at that instance may appear a better condition and not an outright rejection of the same. All in all and on the issue of comparison regarding research utilization before and during the pandemic, there seemed to say very little changes and differences but could have showed appreciable increase as maybe because of the need to be aware on practices and innovations that can abate pandemic spread.…”

“…Using research evidence in clinical care has not been fully achieved in nursing practice due to the inability of nurses to translate research into practice [26]. This has been confirmed by studies in Singapore [27], Brazil [28], Malaysia [29], South Africa [30], Ethiopia [31], Kenya [11] and Ghana [22]. This inability of nurses to translate research into practice has reflected on their use of research, as studies show Nigeria uses 17% of research [32].…”

“…KDH günümüzde sağlık bakımında hastaların beklentilerini karşılama ve maliyeti azaltma yönüyle gittikçe önem kazanmaktadır (Yıldırım & Karadağ 2016). Ancak son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalar, hemşirelerin araştırma sonuçlarını istendik düzeyde kullanmadığını, bakım uygulamalarına yansıtmadıklarını ve kanıta dayalı uygulama konusunda yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıklarını ortaya koymaktadır (D'Sa & Varghese 2020; Hammad et al, 2020;Ferreira et al, 2021).…”
