Basal implants – A blessing for atrophied ridges

Abstract: A demanding procedure in the rehabilitation of atrophied edentulous jaws is implant insertion. Various bone augmentation procedures like ridge augmentation, sinus lift are possible today, which increases the risk and cost of dental implant treatment as well as the number of necessary operations.
