Basiliximab for early perioperative transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy after lung transplantation: a case report

Abstract: Background Thrombotic microangiopathy is a syndrome characterized by microangiopathic hemolytic anemia and platelet aggregation, which is caused by endothelial injury, microcirculation thrombosis, and fibrin deposition.
