Basische Metalle, LIV. Ringverbrückte Rhodium‐Zweikernkomplexe mit (C 5 H 4 ) 2 CH 2 ‐ und (C 5 H 4 ) 2 SiMe 2 ‐Dianionen als Brückenliganden. Kristall‐ und Molekülstruktur von [(C 5 H

Abstract: PF6 salts (13-18). The diacetyldirhodium compound 19 is formed from 9 and methyl iodide. It has not been possible in any of these reactions to accomplish a single electrophilic addition to only one metal atom. The preparation of the dinuclear complexes 20 and 22 -24 containing the (CSH4)2SiMe:-dianion as bridging ligand is also described.

“…The procedure was analogous to that described for 10, using 9 (84 mg, 0.12 mmol) and a 54% solution of HBF, (16 A solution of 15 (173 mg, 0.37 mmol) in 15 mL of hexane was treated, at -78"C, dropwise with a 1.6 M solution (0.23 mL, 0.37 mmol) of nBuLi in hexane. After the reaction mixture was warmed to room temperature, it was stirred for 1 h, and then the solvent was removed.…”

“…[Rh(C 2 H 4 ) 2 (l-Cl)] 2 was first synthesised according to the method of Cramer. 32 [CH 2 (C 5 H 4 ) 2 ][Rh(C 2 H 4 ) 2 ] 2 was synthesised using a modification of the method described by Werner et al 33 [Rh(C 2 H 4 ) 2 (l-Cl)] 2 (0.5 g) was added to a cooled (−78 • C) Schlenk tube containing CH 2 [(C 5 H 4 )Tl] 2 (0.99 g). THF (30 ml) was slowly transferred into the Schlenk tube with continual stirring and the solvent removed after 30 minutes.…”

“…Reduction with Na and reaction with MeI generated the M-M bond containing species [CH 2 (g 5 -C 5 H 4 ) 2 ][Co(Me)(l-CO)] 2 . In 1985, Werner et al 24 synthesised [CH 2 (g 5 -C 5 H 4 ) 2 ][Rh(C 2 H 4 ) 2 ] 2 (1) and several related dinuclear rhodium complexes, and reported on a number of their thermal reactions. 25 Here we describe how the dinuclear rhodium complex [CH 2 (g 5 -C 5 H 4 ) 2 ][Rh(C 2 H 4 ) 2 ] 2 1 reacts with dmso, CH 2 =CHSiMe 3 , Et 3 SiH, Et 2 SiH 2 and Me 3 SiH under photochemical conditions.…”
