Beam-shaped electrothermal graphite tube furnace for atomic-absorption spectrophotometry

Abstract: Commercial graphite tubes (Massmann type) generally have a cylindrical shape and only a portion of the internal volume is available for absorption, owing to the geometry of the focused light beam.
