Beam steering of an active integrated antenna array utilizing an MMIC oscillator with second harmonic injection.

Abstract: One of the radar functions for the active integrated antenna array for beam steering utilizing harmonic injection into an MIMIC oscillator is described in this paper. The fabricated 2 X 2 active integrated antenna array was locked by an external signal at frequency one half with respect to the fundamental operating frequency of the MIMIC oscillator.
