Beating Cancer Inequalities in the EU

Abstract: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic's global upheaval, longstanding disease threats return to the forefront of the healthcare policy agenda. Foremost among these -and long considered the most daunting -is cancer, which is set to become the leading cause of death in the 27 European Union (EU) Member States, Norway and Iceland (EU+2 countries) by 2035.
