Beekeeping in, of, or for the city? A socioecological perspective on urban apiculture

Abstract: The term “urban beekeeping” has come to connote a host meanings --- sociopolitical, commercial, ecological, personal --- beyond the mere description of where bees and beekeepers happen to coincide.
