Being active during lockdown: the recovery potential of physical activity for well-being

“…The link between the satisfaction of basic psychological needs and psychological functioning is also supported by a study carried out with French adults during the 2020 spring lockdown due to the COVID‐19 pandemic showing moderate associations of need satisfaction with higher subjective well‐being and lower perceived stress (Ginoux, Isoard‐Gautheur, Teran‐Escoba et al ., 2021).
