Bellevalia turcica sp. nov. (Asparagaceae): a new species from South Anatolia, Turkey

Abstract: Bellevalia turcica was described as a new species in the Pozantı district, Adana province in the south of Turkey. The palynological, ecological, and phenological characteristics were determined. Bellevalia turcica is similar to Bellevalia fominii Woronow, but can easily be distinguished from the differences in the flower and leaf trait characteristics.
