Abstract: Background and AimMetabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a metabolic disorder with limited treatment options. The thyroid hormone receptor (THR)‐β agonist resmetirom/MGL‐3196 (MGL) increases liver fat oxidation and has been approved for treating adult MASH.
