Abstract: While previous studies have shown that white-rot fungal pretreatment reduces the severity of chemical pretreatments and improves enzymatic saccharification yields, very few have investigated the synergistic effects of fungal pretreatment combined with organosolv pretreatment on lignin recovery and quality.
