Benefits of Natural Immunostimulants Derived from Fruit By-Products Added to the Diet of Litopenaeus vannamei: Growth, Intestinal Microbiota, Digestive Enzyme Activities, Immune Responses and Economic Values
Ola A. Ashry et al.
Abstract:Developing cost-effective and secure methods for the prevention and stimulation of animal immune systems is a high priority in contemporary aquaculture. Consequently, better aquaculture production would enhance both animal health and the immune system's ability to fight off diseases. A functional nutrient or feed additive can improve shrimp performance via immune-nutrition in aquaculture including shrimp farming (Rosas et al., 2022).
