Abstract:Purpose of review
Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) is a widely used technique in other gynaecological tumours but has not yet been implemented as the gold standard technique for nodal staging in cervical cancer. Since the majority of evidence is derived from retrospective studies, this review aims to summarize the most recent evidence on this relevant topic.
