Background: Peripheral intravenous access is a commonly performed technical nursing procedure in hospital and is vital for patients with chemotherapy. Obtaining venous access is the first step in patient care, it may be difficult and cause patient discomfort, and pain that may cause delay in patient management. Design: To achieve the aim of the study, a quasi-experimental research design was utilized. Purpose of the study: to determine the effect of moist heat on vein"s integrity and pain among patients receiving peripheral intravenous chemotherapy.
