Abstract:The article presents the process of designing a connecting rod and crankshaft made of titanium alloy Ti6Al4V in accordance with the assumed dimensions. The Engine unit will power a vehicle taking part in the Shell Eco-Marathon competition. The elements were subjected to FEM simulation for static and fatigue strength to check their trouble-free operation.
