Benign metastasizing leiomyoma

Abstract: Benign metastasizing leiomyoma (BML) is a rare clinical condition predominantly occurring in reproductive women with a history of uterine leiomyoma resection or hysterectomy. Oftentimes, it is easy to be misdiagnosed as a malignant tumor when nodules are found in multiple tissues. In order to raise clinicians' awareness of BML, we present a short review of the literature in combination with an unusual case.
