Abstract: Background: The purpose of this review is to clarify the natural course of benign paroxysmal torticollis (BPT) and update the information on the relationship of this disorder with migraine. BPT belongs to a group of “episodic syndromes that may be associated with migraine” and is diagnosed according to diagnostic criteria of the International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition.
