Abstract:Pain management following acute injury or post‐operative procedures is highly necessary for proper recovery and quality of life. Opioids and non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) have been used for this purpose, but opioids cause addiction and withdrawal symptoms whereas NSAIDS have several systemic toxicities.
