Abstract: The title compound, CH3O–C(O)–Fc–C(O)–OBt or [Fe(C7H7O2)(C12H8N3O2)] (Bt is benzotriazole), shows a cis configuration of the Bt group relative to the ferrocene core, with the benzene ring in close proximity to the methyl ester group.
