Compressed air driven vehicles are in an early stage of development worldwide. This type of vehicles may be an alternative drive possibility instead of classical drive systems. Such vehicles are also designed, built and used for racing and product study purposes in Pneumobile Contest organized by Bosch-Rexroth group and actually by Aventics Hungary. The Pneumobiles are built by students from European Universities, and used in the annual Pneumobile Contest. The mechanical chain and construction together with the used control system is presented. The presented vehicle is driven by compressed air system, controlled by a PLC, and it was used in Pneumobile Contest in 2013 and 2014; the whole design and construction was made by TechAirGo Pneumobile team of Sapientia Univeristy, and is it is under continuous development.
