‘Beyond repair’: modernism, renewal and the conservation of Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market, 1967–76

Abstract: His research examines twentieth-and twenty-first century urban history and heritage conservation. He has recently published People-Centred Methodologies for Heritage Conservation: Exploring Emotional Attachments to Historic Urban Places (ed. with Rebecca Madgin, Routledge 2021) and has a forthcoming historical monograph on heritage conservation in Australia (Routledge, 2022).
