Beyond ws and ls: Evaluating intercollegiate athletics programs

Abstract

Although intercollegiate athletics are harder to evaluate than other campus services and programs, administrators have an obligation to examine the functioning of their athletic programs and the relationship of sports to their institutions' educational missions.
