Bibliometric Analysis for Explaining the Environmental Issues and Its Mitigation Approaches for the Sustainable Living of People

Abstract

This chapter identifies the environmental issues and its mitigating approaches for ensuring the sustainable living of people as per the existing literature. Related research articles are taken from SCOPUS database during 2004 - 2024. The related articles are obtained and processed using SCOPUS data-base and VOS viewer software. A total of 264 documents have been published in the domain of environmental issues and its associated areas and indexing in SCOPUS database. It covers 264 research articles which are published by 878 authors across 67 countries. These articles are finalized using 86 different keywords. The findings of this chapter show that the number of published articles in the area of the environmental sector consistently increased across countries after 2020. It also noticed that China, Pakistan and the United Kingdom have dominant positions in the number of published articles in environmental and its associated sectors across countries.
