Bicritical universality of the anisotropic Heisenberg model in a crystal field

Abstract: The bicritical properties of the three-dimensional classical anisotropic Heisenberg model in a crystal field are investigated through extensive Monte Carlo simulations on a simple cubic lattice, using Metropolis and Wolff algorithms.
