Bifurcation of limit cycle for three-dimensional Lotka-Volterra dynamical system

Abstract

In this paper, we give a survey of the use of the Hopf bifucation theorem in a special subset of a three-dimensional Lotka-Volterra dynamical system. We show that a stable limit cycle can bifurcate. Our main result obtained is illustrated with examples and simulations.
