Abstract:Purtscher retinopathy is a hemorrhagic and vaso-occlusive vasculopathy that results from head trauma. Typically, patients present with sudden onset of painless reduction in visual acuity and a group of retinal findings including retinal hemorrhages, retinal whitening, and optic disc edema.
