Abstract: Background: Naevus of Ota, also called naevus fusculocoeruleus ophtalmomaxillaris, belongs to the group of dermal melanocytoses. It typically occurs in the Asian population, and it is extremely rare in Caucasians. The management of naevus of Ota has been challenging.
