Abstract: Epilepsy is a common and severe neurological disorder affecting millions of people worldwide. Nowadays, antiseizure medications (ASMs) are the main treatment for most epilepsy patients, although many of them do not respond to ASMs and suffer from drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE).
