Bingöl Propolis İzolatlarının Biyolojik Aktivitesinin, Lipofilik ve Uçucu Organik Bileşenlerinin Belierlenmesi

Abstract: In this study, the biological activity and chemical composition of Bingöl propolis were investigated. The isolates, including ethanol isolate (EI), hexane isolate (HI), and essential oil isolate (EOI), were prepared from raw propolis. The lipophilic and volatile organic compounds in isolates were analyzed by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GS-MS) measurements. Bingöl propolis isolates showed antimicrobial activity against reference pathogen bacterial strains, including Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923),… Show more

“…The chemical 1-Hexyl-2-nitrocyclohexane, which has neuroactive, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties, is also present in both male and female insects [ 22 , 23 ]. Nonacos-1-ene, a female-specific chemical, is one of the pheromone elements utilized for insect communication [ 24 ], and 2-Heptadecenal, a substance with lipophilic characteristics aids in the production of propolis bee glue is also detected [ 25 ]. Among the unique volatile compounds of male insects, indole has been used as a promising agent for the treatment of antimicrobial activity, malaria, diabetes, cancer, migraines, convulsions, and hypertension [ 26–28 ].…”
