Bioactivity Assessment of Veratrum californicum Alkaloids

Abstract: The native Idaho plant Veratrum californicum is known to contain steroidal alkaloids that function as inhibitors of hedgehog signaling, a pathway utilized for the growth and differentiation of cells as well as proper tissue development.
