Abstract: Agricultural productivity in the tropics is constrained by low soil nutrient contents and accelerated mineralization of soil organic matter. This study investigated the effects of biochar particle size on soil chemical properties and nutrient contents of degraded Ultisol in Nsukka, southeastern Nigeria.
