Biocolorant “prodigiosin” interferes with the growth of biofouling bacteria: an in vitro and in silico approach

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this paper was to identify Serratia marcescens to extract and purify prodigiosin pigment to evaluate the antibacterial potential of the pigment.
