Biodiversity of endophytic bacteria and fungi of wild grapes Vitis amurensis Rupr.

Abstract: The diversity of endophytic bacteria and fungi of V. amurensis grape plants growing in the suburbs of Vladivostok in the summer and autumn periods of 2018-2020 was analyzed. About 600 strains of bacteria and 160 strains of fungi were inoculated from peripherally sterilized leaves and stems of V. amurensis. Isolated bacteria were representatives of 36 genera: Actinobacterium, Acinetobacter, Agrobacterium, Arthrobacter, Bacillus, Buttiauxella, Curtobacterium, Duganella, Erwinia, Enterobacter, Frigoribacterium, F… Show more

“…N. serpens and Nemania spp. have occasionally been isolated as endophytes of cultivated and wild grapes [128,132]. We isolated N. aureolutea (En25-1), a rarely observed species that is closely related to the common N. aenea.…”

“…The genus Coniochaeta was also found in abundance (13.37% of Sordariomycetes). Species of this genus are known to be pathogens of woody hosts, including grapevines [49]. There are also some species in this genus that are known to be beneficial in that they are inhibitory to plant pathogenic fungi [49].…”
