Biofabrication: Development of Endothelial Cell Networks in 3D Tissues by Combination of Melt Electrospinning Writing with Cell‐Accumulation Technology (Small 2/2018)
Abstract:In article https://doi.org/10.1002/smll.201701521, Mitsuru Akashi, Jürgen Groll, and co‐workers use a cell‐accumulation technique for the controlled formation of tubular structures in cellular constructs. The image is a confocal laser scanning microscopy image showing HUVECs attached to polycaprolactone scaffolds with 100 μm pores produced by melt electrowriting after 1 day of incubation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
