“…Cualquier producción individual se aborda contextualizándola en su significado social ya que se ha pasado de las verdades universales a la pluralidad de ideas sobre el mundo (Lax, 1996) en donde la persona informa y aporta las claves para comprender los sistemas sociales en los que transita (Feixa, 2006). Este giro narrativo en el discurso y las vivencias del individuo, dan significado a la vida (Bolívar & Domingo, 2006) y al investigarse desde una perspectiva biográfico-narrativa, permiten el acceso a la identidad, los significados, el saber práctico y las claves cotidianas presentes en los procesos de interrelación, identificación y reconstrucción personal y cultural (Aceves, 1991(Aceves, , 2001Arias & Alvarado, 2015;García-Huidobro, 2016), el llamado síntoma biográfico (Marinas & Santamarina, 1993). En Latinoamérica con este tipo de abordajes se pretende, por un lado, estudiar la cotidianeidad y, por otro, rescatar identidades comunitarias a través del retrato cultural a partir de los relatos subjetivos de las personas que reflejan sus conflictos, sus valores, sus vivencias y su quehacer cotidiano (Aceves, 2001;Pozas, 1962); de la memoria histórica que restaure la verdad o recopile y muestre la "otra" historia, la silenciada y oculta (Bolívar, 2005;Schwarzstein, 1995); y de la emergencia de la "otra" sociedad, la marginada, y las subculturas (Bolívar & Domingo, 2006).…”
