Abstract:Traditional treatments for acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) are ineffective, and its mechanisms are unclear. Whole transcriptome sequencing of ATAAD and healthy control (HC) aortic tissues identified differentially expressed mRNAs (DE-mRNAs), miRNAs, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), and circular RNAs (circRNAs). Target genes were determined by intersecting DE-mRNAs with ATAAD-related genes. Key genes were analyzed using protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis, machine learning, and various functional a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
