Abstract:Immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) generates sustained responses in immunogenic cancers, but its effectiveness is limited in tumors lacking immune activity. Here, we construct a bioinspired bimetallic ions functionalized nanoscale metal-organic framework (NMOF) single-atom nanozyme (SAzyme) loaded with doxorubicin (Dox) (NMOF-Fe/Cu-Dox nanocomposite) to effectively trigger anti-tumor immune responses while addressing the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). The NMOF-Fe/Cu-Dox nanocomposite has been de… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
