Biological approaches to the purification of textile wastewater

Abstract: The textile industry is one of the major sources of environmental pollution. This is due to the use of a wide range of dyes, surfactants, oxidizing agents and other chemical reagents in technological processes. Modern dyes are characterized by low biodegradability, resistance to chemical and temperature effects of the environment.
