Abstract: Purpose of reviewA better understanding of the most recent scientific literature in the use of biological therapy in the treatment of patients with IgE-mediated food allergy. Recent findingsA systematic review and meta-analysis demonstrated safety and effectiveness of omalizumab in the treatment of food allergy.
