The study of some reproductive parameters of Auxis rochei was initiated on specimens from Ivorian waters from January to December 2016. Data collection during this period revealed a seasonal distribution of this species in this part of the Gulf of Guinea. The sex ratio determined showed a predominance of males (1: 0.51, X 2 observed = 25.39> X 2 theoretical = 3.84, p <0.05). Monthly and seasonal monitoring of the macroscopic and microscopic stages of sexual maturity, as well as the GSR, HSR and K showed that this species breeds during the two cold seasons. The size of first sexual maturity determined is 24.70 cm for females, 26.36 cm for males and 25.50 cm for the species.
