Abstract:Avocado brown mite, Oligonychus punicae (Hirst) (Acari: Tetranychidae), causes significant damage to crops, such as avocado (Persea americana Mill. [Lauraceae]). To implement strategies for integrated management of O. punicae, it is necessary to understand its biology when it feeds on different hosts.
