“…This shows, on the one hand the susceptibility of common carp to elevated Cu and Cd concentrations and on the other hand the ability to quickly adapt to a stressful situation. In other studies, increases as well as decreases in CAT activity have been reported (Jia et al 2011, Díaz-de-Alba et al 2017, Pan et al 2018).
